DPSST UNARMRED SECURITY PROFESSIONAL COURSE
DE-ESCALATION TRAINING
To be a security officer in the state of Oregon you must be certified. The initial course is a 14 HR Basic Unarmed Security Course where I offer Remote Training as well as live classroom.
Every two years you will be required to renew your Security certification with the Refresher Unarmed Security Course
This course is designed to equip you with the necessary tools to be a successful security professional. I believe that communication is key and our unique approach focuses on teaching you how to effectively deescalate situations.
REPORT WRITING
An essential aspect of being a security officer is report writing. Reports are read by your supervisors, clients, the District Attorney's Office, and the media. Throughout this course, you will learn basic technical skills to help you develop a strong foundation, which will allow you to write reports more confidently. I can also provide assistance with policy and procedures, as well as post orders.
